Rebecca Thorsness
Rebecca Thorsness, PhD is a health services researcher with the Partnered Evidence-based Policy Resource Center at the VA Boston Healthcare System. Her research focuses on access to care and the VHA healthcare workforce, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. She is also interested in how people with chronic diseases navigate health care systems and the impact of health insurance coverage expansions and health care reform on these populations. Dr. Thorsness received her PhD in Health Services Research from the Brown University School of Public Health and completed a Presidential Management Fellowship with the Chief Medical Office of the VA New England Healthcare System before joining PEPReC.
