Demetri Goutos

Demetri Goutos is a Graduate Fellow at the Veterans Health Administration’s Partnered Evidence-Based Policy Resource Center (PEPReC). His research focuses on improving mental health care delivery and quality for Veterans, and on understanding how health technology changes and digital health initiatives affect patient access and outcomes.
Demetri is also a PhD student in Health Services and Policy Research at Boston University, where he examines the impact of electronic health record transitions and digital health tools on mental health care for Veterans. In addition, he serves as a Research Fellow at Boston Medical Center, where he designs and evaluates projects that strengthen vulnerable populations’ ability to engage with digital health services.
Previously, Demetri worked at Yale University on measuring and improving care quality across the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services program portfolio. He earned his MBA from La Salle University and his BA from Yale University.
